About

My Background & Present Position

Engagement in the family business of coconut cultivation and oil mills since childhood created a passion in the Industry. The family owned business SN brand ( Sree Narayana Oil Mills) established in the year 1958 was one of the pioneers in coconut oil manufacturing in the state of Kerala, active involvement in the business activities since early years led to the origin of Hare Krishna Agro Plantations Pvt. Ltd in Pollachi, Tamil Nadu.

Bachelors in Business Management from Mysore University in the year 1990 to 1994

  • State Co-convener of BJP Trade & Industry Cell : 2011 – 2013
  • State Convener & National Executive Member of BJP MSME Cell : 2013-2015
  • Ex-Trustee : Cochin Port Trust: 2016 – 2018

Social Activities

  • Providing an efficient and able form for redressal of grievances for the struggling SMEs and MSMEs in Kerala
  • Bringing together industrial workmen in traditional Industries like Hand looms for the betterment of the sector. The formation of Balaramapuram hand loom weavers collective is an example of the effort that led to the revival of the age-old traditional industry.
  • Working closely with the earthen tile manufacturers in policy making and addressing the issues of the employees, which comprises of 70 percent women and thereby protecting this traditional Industry from extinction.
  • Worked towards planning and implementation of various activities in Cochin Port Trust as a trustee member.
  • Works closely with CII, ASSOCHAM, UPASI and FICCI to popularise Industry Cell and to align the activities of the Industry cell in line with the expectations of the Industry in the state.
  • Worked for the Ayurveda Medicine Manufacturers Organisation of India (AMMOI) to bring the traditional Ayurveda practitioners together on a platform for confronting issues faced by the ancient Industry.
